Internships with UNESCO provide experience of the daily working environment of a United Nations specialized agency. Interns work in a team across various sectors or services at Headquarters, in field offices, or in institutes, contributing to research, document preparation, data analysis, event organization, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Benefits & funding
Interns gain professional experience in an international environment. They receive 2.5 days of leave per month during the internship.
Eligibility
You must be at least 20 years old and currently enrolled in a graduate programme (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent) or have recently graduated within the last 12 months. Applicants who have completed a full bachelor’s degree but are not enrolled in a graduate programme are not eligible.
