MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) 2025

A six-week training programme for Nigerian media practitioners and content creators, fully sponsored by MTN Nigeria, including on-campus sessions, site visits, and a study trip to Johannesburg, South Africa. The programme aims to develop ICT, AI, and digital media skills and knowledge of media and technology’s role in diplomacy, with opportunities for mentorship and a potential prize.

Participants will gain skills in ICT-enabled media, AI and digital media, enhanced writing and reporting abilities, exposure to MTN and its operations, mentorship from PAU faculty, and a study visit to the University of Johannesburg; there is a chance to win N1m for an outstanding idea or reportage.

Must be a media practitioner or content creator; must have a valid international passport; must pass a written test and interviews; must obtain employer's written release to participate.
