About this opportunity
The Harvard South Africa Fellowship Program provides up to one year of study at select Harvard schools for South African citizens or permanent residents. The fellowship covers tuition for the full period of enrollment, round-trip airfare, and a monthly stipend to assist with housing and living expenses. The program aims to create a transformational experience at Harvard and advance leadership and public service among South Africans.

Eligibility
South African citizens or legal permanent residents with a bachelor’s degree (or four-year equivalent) and at least five years of postgraduate work experience; priority given to those currently working in Africa; English proficiency required.

Applications are evaluated through the Harvard Africa Office with an annual recruitment and selection process; interviews are conducted in Johannesburg.
