IPI Global AI Accelerator for Media 2026

The International Press Institute (IPI) Global AI Accelerator for Media 2026 is an eight-month funding and support programme for small-to-medium-sized independent news outlets from Global Majority countries. It provides up to $14,000 in funding, along with intensive training, advisory services, and access to networks to help participants adopt AI and new technology in their newsroom operations.

Grant up to $14,000; intensive training and workshops; one-on-one advisory services; group coaching; speaker sessions and workshops; access to an e-learning platform; networking platform with cohort and alumni.

Open to newsrooms from Global Majority countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East that are independent, small-to-medium in size, and already experimenting with AI technologies.
