2026 World Habitat Awards for Innovative solutions to key Housing Challenges around the world

The World Habitat Awards recognise innovative housing ideas, projects, and programmes from around the world. The awards showcase outstanding and sometimes revolutionary approaches to housing, with winners receiving international visibility and additional prizes. Each year two Gold Award winners receive £10,000 each and a trophy, with travel and accommodation costs covered for one representative from each winning project to attend a global UN-Habitat event.

Prize money (£10,000 for each of the two Gold Award winners), trophy, international visibility, and travel/accommodation for one representative to attend a global UN-Habitat event.

Applications must be related to housing, must concern projects in progress or finished within ten years from the call for entries closes, and cannot be a grant application.
