DAAD University Summer Course Grants Scholarships 2025

DAAD University Summer Course Grants Scholarships fund attendance of language, regional studies and technical language courses offered by state or state-recognised German universities and affiliated language schools. The programmes target undergraduate and master's students and provide a one-time scholarship along with travel allowances and insurance; courses are conducted in German and take place in presence, with durations of at least 18 teaching days.

One-time scholarship payment; travel allowance for selected countries; health, accident and personal liability insurance.

Undergraduate and master's students in all disciplines; applicants must be enrolled at a university in a programme-related country (except Germany) at the time of application and during the entire scholarship period; courses are in German and require language proficiency.
