Information

Internships at the World Bank Group International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) offer hands-on experience in international investment dispute settlement and international investment law. The program is designed for graduate students and provides an opportunity to contribute to ICSID’s work and gain research experience. Up to six internships are offered every four months for a minimum of 12 weeks and a minimum of 10 hours per week, typically located at ICSID’s seat in Washington, D.C. (subject to restrictions).

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a graduate program and must be able to obtain academic credit for at least one term or be provided with a university stipend for the duration of the internship. They must also have or be able to obtain an F1 or G4 visa, or be U.S. citizens or residents, and be able to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses in Washington, D.C.
