Information

The Goethe-Institut invites non-profit, non-governmental organisations in six Southern Africa countries to apply for grants under the Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture project. Proposals should lead Narrative Clusters that develop co-produced stories about tangible and intangible heritage, increasing visibility and contemporary relevance. Grants are provided to selected organisations to support narrative development, co-production, travel, outreach, and related activities, with a goal of awarding multiple grants across the region.

Benefits

Financial support up to €55,000 per organisation to develop Narrative Clusters and co-produced heritage narratives, plus potential capacity-building opportunities and project support.

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-profit, non-governmental organisations registered in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, or Zimbabwe and experienced in heritage-related activities.

Application

Submit a proposal via the GAP portal; details and templates are provided by Goethe-Institut.
