Independent Social Research Foundation Worldwide 2026

Information

The Independent Social Research Foundation invites applications from Europe-based scholars and offers funding to support collaborative, interdisciplinary social science research conducted by small groups. Projects should begin by the end of December 2025 and run for up to one year, including in-person collaborative activities such as workshops, paired studies, or short academic visits.

Eligibility

Grants welcome applications from scholars who will lead a 2-10-member group of scholars. The Principal Investigator should hold a PhD and, in most cases, have a permanent academic appointment. Applicants must be affiliated with European higher education and research institutions.
