About this opportunity

Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) is a non-degree program that allows Indonesian language teachers and English teachers to teach in the United States for two semesters. Participants learn at least two courses in American studies and TESL methodology, teach up to 20 hours per week, and receive visa support, round-trip airfare, tuition and program fees, living costs, and insurance through the program.

Eligibility

Indonesian citizens (not residents of the United States) who reside in Indonesia during the selection and nomination process, with leadership qualities and community service experience, fluent in English, and capable of completing the program in the United States.

Submit an online application via the AMINEF grantee portal; complete required documents; deadline is 15 April 2026; shortlisted candidates participate in an interview.
