Young Climate Prize 2027

The Young Climate Prize 2027 is a climate leadership, mentorship and fellowship program open to young people worldwide. It selects 25 finalists who receive mentorship, participate in workshops and training, and may have opportunities to travel to New York City to present their work. Finalists join a three-year fellowship network that provides ongoing support and a global peer community.

Mentorship from leading designers and experts, participation in The World Around Design Academy, training in storytelling and public engagement, strategic guidance, access to a global network of young climate leaders, and potential travel to New York City to present the project; ongoing support through a three-year fellowship.

Applicants must be between 13 and 25 years old, located anywhere in the world, and may apply as individuals or as groups of up to three members. Each applicant must be the founder or co-founder of a live project and actively leading it at the time of application. The project should demonstrate impact addressing climate change.

Submit an online application form, include a short video introducing the project, and provide materials demonstrating impact; applications are in English or Spanish.
