Japan International MANGA Award

The Japan International MANGA Award recognizes manga artists from around the world and awards Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Special Encouragement prizes. Winners are invited to Japan for about seven days to attend the award ceremony in Tokyo, with opportunities to meet publishers and professional manga artists. The program is administered by the Japan International MANGA Award Executive Committee and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Certificates and trophies for Gold and Silver; certificates for Bronze; invitation to Japan for about seven days for Gold and Silver winners; possible meetings with publishers and professional manga artists.

The applicant must be a non-Japanese national.

Fill in the online application form and send the work entries within two weeks after submission.
