The PROPEL Program at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering is a fully funded eight-week residential summer program for promising undergraduate students. It provides immersive research experiences, mentorship, graduate school preparation, and professional development aimed at exposing participants to research careers in engineering and related fields.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are undergraduates currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university in the United States (or its territories), with good academic standing, at least two semesters completed and at least one semester remaining, and an interest in pursuing a PhD in engineering. U.S. Citizens or permanent residents are eligible, and international students with an F-1 visa who are already studying in the U.S. are also eligible; applicants must be at least 18 years old.
