Bennington College Young Writers Awards 2024-25

Bennington College is organizing the Young Writers Awards (YWA) competition for international students to win up to $1,000. Winners and finalists are eligible for undergraduate scholarships at Bennington College in the United States, with four-year scholarship awards for selected entrants. The program is conducted online and accepts submissions in poetry, fiction, or nonfiction from high school students.

Cash prizes for winners and finalists; undergraduate scholarships for four years at Bennington College; entries published on the Bennington College website.

Students should be in grades 9–12. Participants can be from outside the United States.

Submit an entry in one category (Poetry, Fiction, or Nonfiction) online with required personal and school information; ensure the work is original and English; obtain sponsor teacher approval where applicable; upload entry document; agree to terms and conditions.
