The DaRin Butz Research Internship Program offers undergraduates in the life sciences an opportunity to conduct research at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University during a ten-week period. Interns will work with an Arboretum Advisor, develop a research project, and prepare written reports and an oral presentation, with a weekly journal club as part of the experience. The program provides a stipend and travel support for eligible participants.

Benefits

Stipend of $6,250, travel reimbursement up to $550, research experience, and participation in activities with other interns including a weekly journal club; opportunity to develop and present a research project.

Eligibility

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the life sciences leading to a baccalaureate or associate degree; must be authorized to work in the United States; available for the full ten-week term (40 hours per week).
