Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) announces a four-year PhD position in the Department of Industrial Design. The role is part of the international Living in Consumption Corridors project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The position involves qualitative research, participatory or co-design methods, and a focus on design fiction or speculative design within a sustainability context.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Interaction Design or a closely related discipline and demonstrate experience with qualitative research methods and participatory/co-design approaches. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; Dutch is advantageous but not mandatory.
