The University Medical Center Groningen invites applications for a PhD Scholarship in Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning for Kidney Transplant Prediction. The position focuses on developing AI models to predict kidney transplant outcomes using machine learning on biomarkers from clinical data, perfusion fluid, and biopsies, with the aim of improving donor kidney utilization and patient survival rates. The scholarship is funded by the Dutch Kidney Foundation and NWO and is available to applicants affiliated with the University Medical Center Groningen.
