PhD Position in Political Science at University of Basel, Switzerland

PhD position organized by the University of Basel for the academic session 2025/2026. The successful candidate will conduct research within the Department of Political Science, with salary and benefits according to university and SNF regulations, and will have access to resources to conduct independent research and participate in international conferences and summer schools.

Hold a Master’s degree in Political Science or a closely related field, demonstrate strong quantitative research skills (e.g., proficiency in R), have a clear motivation to conduct independent PhD research, and be fluent in written and spoken English. Applicants of all nationalities are welcome.
