Agrobioinformatics

The MSc in Agrobioinformatics is an English-language, full-time master’s degree at Justus Liebig University Giessen that combines bioinformatics with agricultural science. It targets graduates in Agricultural Sciences, Biology, bioinformatics, or related fields and covers programming, data analysis, and interdisciplinary topics linking computer science with agriculture. The programme includes modules, a work placement option, and a Master’s thesis, with lectures and assessments delivered in modular format.

Bachelor graduates in Agricultural Sciences, Biology, (Bio-)Informatics or related disciplines may apply.

Apply through the university’s online portal; use uni-assist for initial application and submit via the JLU online portal. The portal opens 1 June for applicants with a German bachelor’s degree and starts 1 May for others.
