About this opportunity
The Niskanen Summer Institute 2026 is a fully funded, intensive one-week academic program in Washington, D.C. for leadership-minded undergraduates who want to understand the intersection of politics and policy and explore the Niskanen Center’s framework for institutional reform. Participants will gain an insider’s understanding of how Washington works and how to influence policy debates, while engaging with thinkers and policymakers shaping future policy.
Benefits & funding
Salary of $200–$250 per week.

Open to leadership-minded undergraduates who wish to understand the intersection of politics and policy and explore the Niskanen Center’s framework for institutional reform.
