The CDC Steven M. Teutsch Prevention Effectiveness (PE) Fellowship is a two-year post-doctoral research fellowship. The program selects about 10 Traditional Track fellows and 10 Analytics and Modeling Track fellows each year, with most assignments at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Fellows receive salary and benefits similar to other CDC employees and may relocate for the two-year assignment.

Salary at GS-12, step 3; medical insurance; leave; potential salary increase after year one; relocation expenses borne by the fellow.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a related field before the start of the fellowship, with tracks including traditional and analytics/modelling; additionally, eligibility requires US citizenship, US permanent residency, or eligible F1 visa with OPT and STEM eligibility as applicable.
