2026 GirlCode Hackathon

The 2026 GirlCode Hackathon is a continental, all-women hackathon across six African countries. It is a 30-hour coding marathon aimed at empowering female developers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and aspiring founders through mentorship, industry exposure, and opportunities to develop and showcase technology solutions. Winning teams earn prizes and progress to a Pan-African Grand Finale, with a six-month accelerator program for the overall winner.

Open to women from six African countries; participants may be university students, recent graduates, or female entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.
