About this opportunity

The Joanna and Graham Barker Fellowship Scheme 2026–2027 offers two fully funded postdoctoral fellowships hosted by the British Library. The programme is designed for early-career researchers to work with the Library on interdisciplinary projects in cultural heritage, archives, and AI-related discovery, with a 12-month duration beginning in September 2026. Fellows will collaborate with curators, archivists and research teams, gaining professional development and access to world-class archival collections.
