Rapid-response funding opportunity for women’s rights and gender justice activists across Africa. The Urgent Action Fund–Africa (UAF-Africa) Grant Program provides flexible financial support to activists, organizations, and movements responding to urgent threats, emergencies, advocacy opportunities, and critical moments affecting women’s rights and gender justice.

Rapid-response funding, flexible grants, support for advocacy and organizing, protection and safety measures, and resources to strengthen resilience and wellbeing.

Open to women’s rights organizations, feminist groups and networks, grassroots collectives, women human rights defenders, gender-diverse activists, and community-based organizations across Africa, including both registered and informal groups actively involved in feminist organizing.
