PMAFF Performing Arts Grant 2026

The Paul M. Angell Family Foundation (PMAFF) has launched a grant program, Envisioning the Future: Holistic Resources for New Work Development, to fund the creation and development of original performing arts works in Chicago. The initiative supports theater, dance, music, and multidisciplinary performances, with a two-phase structure leading to production and possible renewal funding.

Financial support for development and production of new performance works; potential renewal funding in Phase Two; included requirements and attachments for budgeting and artistic samples.

Eligible organizations are U.S.-based nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status, located in Chicago or Cook County, with performing arts as their primary mission and operating since January 1, 2023.

Applications must be submitted through the PMAFF grant portal.
