Fund for Innovation in Development Call for Proposals 2026

The Fund for Innovation in Development (FID) Call for Proposals 2026 invites organizations, researchers, governments, NGOs, social enterprises, and private-sector innovators to secure funding for innovative development solutions. The program funds ideas across the entire lifecycle—from concept to large-scale deployment—through a staged funding model and focuses on reducing poverty and inequality worldwide.

Financial funding at multiple stages, support for evaluating impact, and opportunities for scaling proven innovations; potential to form institutional partnerships and influence public policy.

Applications may be submitted by research institutes, universities and higher education institutions, government agencies, public-sector organizations, NGOs, nonprofit organizations, private companies, social enterprises, and partnerships/consortiums.
