United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research Graduate Professional Programme in Space Security 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland

The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) invites graduates and postgraduate students to apply for its 2026 Graduate Professional Programme in Space Security in Geneva, Switzerland. The six-month programme provides hands-on research, policy engagement, event support, and opportunities to contribute to space governance and disarmament discussions, with the possibility of extension. Selected participants will work with UNIDIR’s Space Security Programme and gain exposure to international diplomacy, multilateral processes, and related publications.

Professional experience within a United Nations research institution, exposure to space security policy, networking with UN officials, researchers and policymakers, and a monthly stipend.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate programme (master’s degree or higher) or have recently completed graduate studies.
