APWLD Uprising / Art Rising: Feminist Artivism Fellowship 2026

APWLD invites artists from Asia and the Pacific to participate in the Uprising / Art Rising: Feminist Artivism Fellowship. Selected fellows collaborate with feminist activists and grassroots organisations to create artistic works that amplify women’s lived realities and challenge structural inequalities, with a stipend and mentorship plus opportunities for regional exposure and exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand.

USD 3,000 stipend; mentorship from APWLD programmes and partners; access to grassroots feminist organisations; regional networking opportunities; participation in feminist advocacy spaces and events; exhibition opportunities in Bangkok, Thailand; promotion through APWLD platforms.

Open to artists from Asia and the Pacific region working in visual arts, theatre, film and video, digital arts, interdisciplinary arts, or feminist creative activism.

Applications open to individual artists or teams from Asia and the Pacific; proposals must align with the fellowship themes and be co-developed with APWLD where applicable.
