About this opportunity
The Mastercard Foundation Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Scholarships 2026–2027 at the University of Toronto provide full funding for outstanding African scholars to pursue a DrPH degree and develop leadership in public health. The program targets leaders aiming to strengthen health systems and data-driven health research in Africa, with emphasis on returning to contribute to development after graduation. Up to three scholarships will be awarded for the 2026–2027 academic cycle.

Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens and residents of Sub-Saharan African countries, have graduated from an Africa Health Collaborative partner institution, have not yet started a doctoral program, and meet admission requirements for the University of Toronto DrPH program.
