CMU-Africa invites African tech startups to apply for the CMU-Africa Innovation Hub Business Incubation Program 2026/2027. The 12-month, fully funded incubation provides seed funding, mentorship, business advisory, and investor connections to help early-stage startups scale and become investment-ready. The program is hosted in Kigali, Rwanda, and aims to help ventures transition from proof-of-concept to revenue-generating businesses with global networks and support from CMU-Africa’s ecosystem.

Eligibility

Open to African tech startups that are less than two years old, building scalable tech-enabled solutions, with a functional prototype, strong market understanding, and at least two committed co-founders, and that are legally registered.
