About this opportunity
The University of Eldoret, in collaboration with RUFORUM and the Mastercard Foundation, is offering 26 PhD Graduate Teaching Assistantship positions under the TAGDev 2.0 programme. The GTA positions support PhD studies across multiple disciplines related to agriculture and agrifood systems, with tuition waiver and accommodation support where applicable. The programme aims to build Africa’s academic leadership and research capacity, through structured support including mentorship and opportunities for teaching and research.

Eligibility
Be teaching staff at a RUFORUM member university, be formally nominated by their home university, hold a relevant Master’s degree, demonstrate research potential, submit a proposal aligned with priorities, and be willing to relocate to the University of Eldoret; preferably under 40 years of age and able to show financial need.
