Conservation Futures Internship in South Africa 2026

The Conservation Futures Internship 2026 is a three-month, paid, field-based internship organized by Conservation International in partnership with Arizona State University. It takes place in Acornhoek, Limpopo Province, South Africa, and combines fieldwork, academic learning, and professional development with local communities and conservation projects. Interns receive housing, in-country travel support, and a certificate from Arizona State University upon completion.

Stipend (paid internship), travel within country, free housing, local transport, access to online courses, professional mentorship, and an official certificate from Arizona State University.

Enrollment at Arizona State University with an academic background in conservation, environmental studies, community development, or related fields; willingness to live and work in remote areas and collaborate with local communities.
