About this opportunity
The Justice Conservation Fund provides financial support to rural communities, particularly Black and Indigenous populations, to purchase forest land, retain ownership of natural resources, and develop sustainable, community-driven economic opportunities. It aims to protect forests in the Southern Coastal Blackbelt and improve local livelihoods through community-led conservation. The fund is a partnership between Dogwood Alliance and New Alpha Community Development Corporation and seeks to expand beyond South Carolina.
