About this opportunity

The Summer School on Managing Africa’s Extractive Future 2026 is an in-person, one-week training program in Accra, Ghana, focused on governance and policy in Africa’s extractive industries and energy transition. It brings together professionals from Anglophone Africa to build leadership capacity and practical governance skills, and includes access to the Future of Energy Conference. A limited number of scholarships are available (full and partial) along with self-funded options.

Eligibility

Applicants must be citizens of Anglophone African countries and hold a role in an institution working in extractives, energy, governance, media, academia, parliament, or related sectors, with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
