Aga Khan Foundation Canada International Youth Fellowship 2026-2027

The International Youth Fellowship is a program for recent graduates and early-career professionals in Canada to gain international development experience through an eight-month overseas placement, following intensive pre-departure training. Fellows work with AKDN partners in Africa or Asia to support programs that improve quality of life in local communities.

Overseas eight-month placement with AKDN partners, pre-departure training, hands-on international development experience, and a modest stipend to cover living costs.

Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, be 30 years of age or younger on or before February 1, 2026, hold at minimum an undergraduate degree, and demonstrate qualities of global citizenship.
