About this opportunity

The Young and Emerging Leaders Project (YELP) Fellowship 2026 is a flagship leadership development programme organized by LéO Africa Institute in partnership with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). It brings together diverse young professionals for an immersive, multi-phase, in-person fellowship focused on values-based leadership, governance, development, and social impact across Africa.

Benefits & funding

Participants develop leadership identity and purpose, gain insights into Africa’s political and economic systems, build a network of changemakers, enhance communication and critical thinking, and gain access to mentorship and long-term collaboration opportunities.

Eligibility

Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years old, from any African country, from any professional or creative background, and demonstrate commitment to personal growth, values-driven leadership, and continental impact.
