CERN Openlab Geneva, Switzerland 2026

Information

CERN Openlab runs a nine-week summer programme for bachelor’s and master’s students specialising in computer science. Participants work on cutting-edge projects with collaborators and gain hands-on experience with the latest computing technologies. The programme includes an extensive lecture programme and support to find accommodation at or near CERN, along with a subsistence allowance and travel support.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or Master’s student (not a PhD candidate) with a strong computing profile, who has completed at least 6 semesters (3 years) of full-time university study by the start of the summer and remains enrolled as a full-time student until the start of the summer.
