Susan Carroll Fellowship 2026

The Susan Carroll Fellowship is a funded program by the Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) designed to support early-career journalists in developing investigative reporting skills. Fellows receive access to IRE training programs, work on data-driven reporting, and participate in mentoring and networking opportunities with experienced journalists.

Financial support to attend IRE training, hands-on investigative journalism training, data analysis workshops, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Early-career journalists who are pursuing investigative reporting and seek training and mentorship.

Submit a detailed application outlining interests, career goals, and how the fellowship will help achieve them; include supporting materials such as writing samples, resume, and references.
