Refugee Fellows Program 2026–2027

The Refugee Fellows Program is a year-long fellowship organized by Refugees International, supporting refugee leaders, displaced individuals, and advocates working in humanitarian spaces. Fellows gain financial support, global advocacy exposure, professional training, networking opportunities, and opportunities for research and field work.

Financial grant of $15,000, global advocacy exposure, professional training in areas such as public speaking and fundraising, mentoring, networking opportunities, and opportunities to conduct field research or publish policy work.

Applicants must be refugees or forcibly displaced, or strongly engaged in refugee advocacy, and demonstrate active involvement in advocacy work related to refugees, human rights, or humanitarian response.

Applicants must submit a completed application form, essays, CV, references, and a detailed work plan; final selection involves panel interviews.
