EJN Virtual Media Workshop 2026 to Strengthen Reporting on Environmental Threats and Solutions in the Western Balkans

A two-day virtual media workshop for journalists in the Western Balkans to strengthen reporting on biodiversity, environmental threats and solutions. The program includes sessions with media trainers, researchers, policymakers and civil society, followed by grants to support in-depth reporting on biodiversity topics, and an editorial mentorship opportunity. Attendees receive a certificate of completion from EJN for attending both days.

Applicants can be from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo; journalists working in any medium and other media practitioners with experience covering nature and biodiversity issues; freelancers and staff from all types of media organizations are welcome; applications are accepted in English.
