About this opportunity
The Freshwater and Community Conservation Externship is a fully remote, part-time learning program designed for young people to explore freshwater conservation challenges and develop practical, community-driven solutions. It involves research, storytelling, and hands-on projects guided by conservation professionals from two leading organizations. Participants gain exposure to conservation science, develop portfolio-ready deliverables, and receive mentorship during an 8-week experience.
