The International Trade Centre, in collaboration with the East African Community, is launching a six-month support programme to strengthen SMEs across East Africa. It focuses on investment readiness, financial management capacity, and facilitating linkages with financial institutions and investors, with ongoing transaction advisory to help secure external funding.

Eligibility

SMEs legally registered and operational in one of six target East African countries (Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Tanzania, Kenya), operating in listed value chains, in business for at least two years, with financial statements for the last two years, and minimum annual revenue of US$80,000; must be genuinely committed to raising external funding in the next 12 months.
