Information

ILO’s Internship Programme offers hands-on learning opportunities for graduate and postgraduate students and recent graduates in fields related to the ILO’s mandate. Internships last three to six months, with stipends and possible university-supported funding; travel and living costs are typically the intern’s responsibility, though partial funding may be provided by the ILO if applicable.

Eligibility

Applicants must be in the last year of a graduate degree (Master or equivalent) or in a higher degree programme relevant to the ILO’s work, or have completed such a programme in the year preceding the application; a working knowledge of English, French or Spanish is required; there is no age limit.

Search for internship profiles on the ILO Jobs site, create a candidate profile, apply to a chosen internship profile, and attach a cover letter; multiple applications are not allowed per recruitment period.
