Scholar Rescue Fund – Call for Applications

The Institute of International Education’s Scholar Rescue Fund (IIE-SRF) provides temporary academic positions at universities and higher education institutions worldwide for professors and researchers facing threats. The fellowship supports scholars to continue their academic work in safety through a funded, short- to medium-term appointment. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and fellowships are awarded quarterly.

Funding for a one-year fellowship, health insurance, relocation support, and additional host-institution benefits; potential renewal for a second year

Professors, researchers, and public intellectuals from any country, field, or discipline; applications particularly encouraged from individuals underrepresented in their fields.
