Princeton University invites applications for up to two Visiting Research Scholar positions for the 2026–2027 academic year in African American Studies to conduct research, teach, and engage with the campus community; in-person residency on campus with salary, benefits, and teaching responsibilities.

Benefits

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline; independent scholars will be considered in rare cases; applicants cannot be in the process of writing a dissertation at the time of appointment; proposals may be new or in early stages.
