Techstart Proof of Concept Grant Fund

The Techstart Proof of Concept Grant Fund offers grant funding to support early-stage innovators in Northern Ireland to test and validate their concept. There are two streams: Concept Grant up to £15,000 and Concept Plus Grant up to £40,000, with the latter currently open for applications. The program helps eligible startups de-risk their idea through activities such as prototype development, market validation, and customer discovery.

Financial support to develop a concept or prototype, conduct market research and validation, and perform customer discovery and testing; potential for further investment planning.

Open to sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies based in Northern Ireland that have a novel and innovative concept (tech or non-tech).
