About this opportunity

Two postdoctoral fellowship positions under the Cluster of Research Excellence in Migration and Health (CoRE-MH) are being offered. The fellowships are a collaborative research initiative hosted by ACMS at the University of the Witwatersrand, in partnership with ARUA and The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities, with opportunities to spend time at Uppsala University in Sweden. Selected fellows conduct original research on migration and health in Africa, contribute to publications, and participate in related activities and networks.

Eligibility

Essential: PhD in Public Health, Health Sociology, Migration Studies, or a related field (completed within the last 5 years); Fluent in English and one relevant local African language; strong qualitative research skills; familiarity with African healthcare systems and migration policy; willingness to travel. Desirable: additional languages and international health systems research experience.
