Open Africa Power 2025: Applications Now Open for Young African Energy Leaders

Open Africa Power 2025 is a merit-based program for young energy professionals in Africa, combining online and residential learning modules across partner academic institutions in Africa and Italy. The program aims to equip participants with technical, regulatory, and leadership skills to advance Africa’s sustainable energy future, with a selection process that includes administrative checks and evaluation of professional background, motivation, and assignments. Up to 80 participants are selected each year, with collaboration from universities and energy sector partners.

Participation in a multi-module program with online and residential components, exposure to academic and industry partners, and potential certificates of attendance/completion/excellence.

Open to young African energy professionals; selection is merit-based.
