Call for Applications: 3rd African Feminist Academy for Climate Justice (AFACJ) 2024

The African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) invites applications for the 3rd African Feminist Academy for Climate Justice (AFACJ). The weeklong academy targets African women and feminist groups to learn about climate science, feminist theory, and climate advocacy, with the aim of empowering participants to theorize, strategize, and take action on climate justice. It will bring together women’s rights organizations, young women-led groups, and feminist organizations from across Africa for discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking.

Open to African women’s rights activists, academicians, journalists/bloggers, young women and movement leaders who are passionate about feminist climate justice.
