Global Disaster Preparedness Center Urban Climate Resilience Research Grants

The Global Disaster Preparedness Center (GDPC) invites applications for its Small Research Grants Program to advance knowledge on urban climate resilience. The program funds research projects in low- and middle-income countries, supporting university researchers including graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and faculty members. Grants cover up to $10,000 USD and last up to eight months, with a completion deadline in late 2025.

Financial support for eligible research projects (up to $10,000 USD) and an opportunity to contribute to urban climate resilience knowledge; includes potential mentorship and supervision requirements.

Applicants must be affiliated with an accredited university (graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and faculty). Teams are welcome; supervision is required for student researchers. Open to researchers from low- and middle-income countries; research must focus on those countries.
